Product Name: PS Crown Molding (Polystyrene Ceiling Cornice)
Tagline: Lightweight, waterproof, and easy to install — the practical alternative to plaster and wood cornice for clean ceiling-to-wall transitions.
PS Crown Molding is an extruded polystyrene decorative profile installed at the junction of walls and ceilings. It conceals assembly joints, covers rough edges, and adds visual layering to interior spaces through simple or elaborate profile designs. Unlike plaster cornice, which is heavy and requires specialist installation, PS crown molding is feather-light and can be fixed with construction adhesive alone — no nails, no specialized tools, no messy plaster work. The non-porous polystyrene structure makes it waterproof and mildew-resistant, suitable for humid rooms where wood or MDF trim would swell or warp.
Ultra-lightweight & simple installation: Fixed with construction adhesive directly to the wall-ceiling corner. No heavy lifting, no specialist labor, no plaster curing time.
Waterproof & mildew-resistant: Closed-cell PS structure will not absorb moisture, swell, or support mold growth — ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, and basements.
Dimensionally stable: Will not contract or expand with temperature and humidity changes like wood moldings.
Clean, crisp surface: Extruded profiles deliver sharp, smooth lines. Surface accepts water-based paint for color matching to ceilings or walls.
Cost-effective vs. plaster & wood: Lower material cost, dramatically lower installation labor, and reduced breakage during transport compared with plaster cornice.
